Collection: SUNNEI

Sunnei was founded in 2015 by two friends, Loris Messina and Simone Rizzo. From its very first collections, the brand has been at the forefront of new Italian fashion.

Loris Messina is originally from France, but moved to Milan—the city that changed his life—to study economics. It was there that he met Simone, an Italian from Catanzaro who was studying digital communications. Both had experience in the Milanese fashion world, but in marketing, PR, and buyer roles. Neither had a background in design, but both felt the need and desire to breathe new life into the conservative Italian fashion scene. Thus, in 2015, after quitting their jobs, Loris and Simone created the brand Sunnei, whose name comes from the Italian interpretation of the English word "sunny."
