Gramicci is an American outdoor brand founded in 1982 by Mike Graham — a climber and member of the Stonemasters, the legendary Yosemite crew that revolutionized rock climbing. They ditched heavy gear in favor of speed, freedom of movement, and minimalism. Their clothing carried the same spirit.

In his California garage, Graham designed the first climbing shorts and pants. He built in a gusseted crotch for full range of motion, a nylon belt you could tighten with one hand, and durable fabric throughout. That's how the iconic G-Pants were born — simple, functional, and practically indestructible.

Like the Stonemasters' culture itself, Gramicci quickly moved beyond the mountains. The G-Pants were adopted by surfers, skaters, and urban subcultures. Because the same qualities that worked on the rocks worked just as well in everyday life.

In the '90s, the brand found a second home in Japan, where it was reimagined as a staple of the urban wardrobe. Today, Gramicci blends American outdoor heritage with Japanese precision in fit, materials, and detail. The lineup has grown to include clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products.
