Founded in Paris in 2008, côte&ciel (French for “shore and sky”) combines industrial design, fashion and innovation. Its founder, German designer Stephan Wembacher, began his career creating accessories for Apple, including cases for the first iPods. Collaborations with brands such as Apple, BMW and Porsche have shaped his pursuit of perfection in design and functionality.

The brand’s head designer is Emilie Arnault, who has been creating accessories that combine form and function since côte&ciel’s inception. Her approach is based on an intuitive understanding of materials and their natural properties—which allows for organic, ergonomic shapes.

Each côte&ciel model is the result of deep research into materials, form and utility. The use of innovative fabrics, such as EcoYarn, ensures water resistance and durability of the products.
