FLATLIST: gdy jakość nie potrzebuje głośnego nazwiska

FLATLIST: when quality doesn't need a famous name

Most people looking for good sunglasses follow the same pattern: Ray-Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Tom Ford. This is understandable – well-known brands provide a sense of security. But there are companies that use identical materials to the most expensive optical houses in the world, yet remain off the radar of the average buyer. FLATLIST is one of them.
The Copenhagen brand, founded in 2018 by stylist Kasper Spacey, has been built from the start on a simple principle: no empty luxury, just true quality and character. Today, FLATLIST lands on the shelves of Dover Street Market and SSENSE – places where the bar is set exceptionally high. This is enough to know that we are dealing with something more than just another trendy seasonal brand.

KASPER SPACEY – WHO IS BEHIND THE BRAND?

Before FLATLIST was founded, its creator spent years in the US as a stylist working with top-tier artists: Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, and other names that have defined contemporary fashion culture for years. This is not a random biographical detail – it explains why the brand’s eyewear looks the way it does.
A person who works with image at the highest possible level every day understands the difference between something that exists and something one wants to wear. That's why FLATLIST doesn't try to be minimalist for the sake of it, nor avant-garde for show. Each model has its own story – it is inspired by a specific person, place, or moment – and it shows. The glasses have character without screaming about it.

MATERIALS THAT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

If you have ever compared glasses made of cheap acetate with a proper frame, the difference is immediately palpable in your hand. FLATLIST uses Mazzucchelli acetate – an Italian material considered the standard among the best eyewear brands in the world. It is dense, holds its shape well, does not fade, and has a depth of color that cannot be achieved in cheaper production.
OBE hinges are German mechanics that determine how the glasses open, how they sit on the face, and how long they maintain their proper position. This is a detail that most people only notice when it starts to malfunction – after a year or two. With FLATLIST, this problem simply does not arise.
Carl Zeiss lenses are a separate chapter. This is the same Carl Zeiss that produces optics for medical equipment, film cameras, and telescopes. Their sunglass lenses provide accurate color reproduction, minimal image distortion, and full UV protection. In everyday glasses, this is a level rarely encountered.

WHO WEARS FLATLIST?

Bella Hadid, Travis Scott, Kim Kardashian, ASAP Nast – these are not advertising ambassadors paid to wear a logo. These are people who simply have these glasses in their wardrobe. The difference is significant: when the brand's founder personally knows most of these people and understands what they truly wear every day, the natural presence of the brand in their styling looks different from a campaign executed with a million-dollar budget.
That is why FLATLIST became recognizable far beyond Copenhagen very quickly – and without mass distribution.

WHY FLATLIST IS THE ANSWER TO WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR

If you're looking for stylish sunglasses that are made from good materials, don't appear on every other passerby, and don't cost as much as a premium watch – FLATLIST hits that sweet spot precisely. The collection includes current silhouettes: from classic round and rectangular frames to more distinctive models with character. Both in women's and men's versions – everything that people genuinely wear on the street in 2025.
Acetate frames, top-class lenses, thoughtful design – and no feeling that you are overpaying for the logo itself.
