Collection: EDWIN

EDWIN - a denim legend from Japan

It's one of those brands without which it's hard to imagine contemporary denim culture in Japan. EDWIN was founded in 1947 in Tokyo by Tsunemi Yonehachi . Initially, it imported American jeans to Japan, but by 1961, it began producing its own models—giving birth to the Japanese denim industry.

Fun fact: EDWIN is an anagram of the word DENIM with the letters rearranged. It's a symbolic gesture that reflects the brand's philosophy—to reinterpret classics and create a Japanese version of American workwear.

In 1963, EDWIN created the world's first old-wash jeans , a type of artificially aged denim. They also pioneered the stonewash technique, which later became an industry standard.

Today, EDWIN offers much more than just jeans. It offers complete clothing collections that combine classic style with modern cuts, minimalism, and functionality. The brand uses the finest materials: Japanese artisan denim, premium cotton, wool, technical fabrics, and recycled materials. Every seam, every texture, every shade of blue—the result of years of research and experience.

EDWIN is a brand for those who value craftsmanship, detail, and history. These are clothes that will last for years, not just one season. Jeans that will stand the test of time. Jackets with a perfect fit. T-shirts with a philosophy of simplicity and honest production.
