FORÉT

Founded in 2014 by Jeppe Meier and Jesper Finderup, FORÉT was born from a desire to embrace a slower, more mindful way of living. Growing up together in the Danish countryside, surrounded by forests, fields, and lakes, we spent much of our childhood outdoors.

Our days followed the rhythm of nature rather than strict schedules, and being present felt natural. These early experiences shaped both who we are and how we approach clothing today.

After relocating to Copenhagen and gaining experience in fashion and other creative industries, we set out to build a brand that reconnects with that feeling. We wanted to create clothing that promotes presence, versatility, and a calmer pace in everyday life.

The name FORÉT, inspired by the French word for forest, reflects our idea of “soft outdoor.” We design pieces that combine functionality with a sense of ease and familiarity. 

They are practical enough for changing weather and time spent outside, yet simple and adaptable for daily wear. Rather than technical gear for extreme conditions, our garments are thoughtfully made for coastal walks, weekends in nature, mornings in the city, and everything in between.
